Special Report: South Side Block Club Helps Haiti Earthquake Victims
January 29th, 2010 by ShortyConcerned members of the 10800 S. Green Block Club saw the recent Haitian earthquake damage and devastation and knew they had to do something, anything to help their suffering brothers and sisters.
One block club member told the BULLETIN: “We heard that many of the Haitians were forced from their homes and the evacuees trying to get to America with literally the clothes on their backs…We spread the word to our neighbors and immediately began collecting clothes and personal items that would be useful to the earthquake victims.”

Shorty’s Views: Bill O’Reilly on Haiti & The South Side of Chicago
January 28th, 2010 by Shortyhttpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7ICpDt60jg
Bill O’Reilly compared Haiti to the South Side of Chicago. While people have opinions all across the board, I only one question for Mr. O’Reilly: HOW?
Actually, I had several questions which were emailed to him earlier this evening, but I need to know HOW the two compare before I join the bandwagon of noisemakers.
As soon as I hear from Mr. O’Reilly, I’ll let you know. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on his comparison of Haiti and the South Side of Chicago?
