AMA AND THE MAGIC TOY BOX at the eta Theater – January 15, 2011
December 27th, 2010 by ShortyCheck out AMA and the Magic Toy Box, an educational and fun-filled tribute to Black Music, performed by eta’s Youth Performance Workshop, on January 15, 2011. The performance will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A delightful musical fantasy about a young girl who feels her parents do not give her enough attention.
One day, while talking to her toys, they talk back to her and the fun begins! Upon her journey, Ama’s dolls teach her a valuable lesson about gratitude and parental respect.

Tickets are $15.00. You can also choose to donate your ticket so a young person or senior citizen can be a member of the audience. Simply select “Donated General Admission” to give someone an enjoyable theater experience. All “Personal Use General Admission” tickets will be available at the door. Simply print out and present your ticket at the door to the host’s representative.

The Harlem Theatre of Chicago Need African American Actors
August 17th, 2010 by ShortyThe Harlem Theatre Company of Chicago will be holding auditions for upcoming productions of Zooman and the Sign at ETA Creative Arts Foundations located at 7558 S. South Chicago Ave. on Aug 23rd and 24th from 6-9PM on both days.
African American actors between the ages of 15-60 are needed.
