Update: The ComEd Credit Relief Form is NO GOOD!

Update

The following message was received from a ComEd Representative a few days ago in response to my post about the ComEd Rate Relief Credit:

“The ComEd Rate Relief Credit form that is circulating online expired 3 yrs ago and is no longer valid. All credits were dispersed to customers in 2008. Pls do not circulate this form. Customers can read about this on ComEd’s website. https://www.comed.com/Document…

Were You an Active ComEd Customer between January 1 – August 31, 2007?

If you were, you are due a rate relief credit disbursement.  The application for the disbursement says that ComEd want to help customers transition to new rate rates that took effect in January of this year.  In my opinion, they charge too much for services anyway and all customers deserve some form of relief from these high bills.  I don’t have background information about this refund but you can visit ComEd for more information. I do, however, have the ComEd Rate Relieve Credit Disbursement application.  Just complete it and mail it in.

For those of you who have completed an application, have you received your disbursement yet? If so, were you pleased with the amount?
