Executive Assistant Position at Clear Channel Communications
Under the supervision and direction of the Market Manager, assists on a variety of administrative matters.
Work may involve handling sensitive issues and confidential information requiring discretion on the employee’s part
Performs a variety of administrative support duties which require proficiency in typing, record keeping, communication and a high degree of confidentiality.
Assists the Market Manager in preparing agendas, organizing and reporting information and preparing reports.
Schedules meetings, travel and appointments for the Market Manager. Prepares itineraries and makes reservations as necessary.
Keeps Market Manager informed of meeting schedules and report deadlines. Informs Market Manager of actual or potential scheduling conflicts.
Serves as liaison between Market Manager and other departments, assisting in the development and completion of projects, attending to routine administrative matters and coordinating interdepartmental efforts to further communication, as needed.
Required Skills:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Special or technical training in the field of public administration or public relations preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible experience as an administrative assistant
Ability to prepare accurate written records and reports.
Ability to perform detail oriented work with frequent interruptions.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to meet deadlines and to concentrate and pay attention to detail.
Ability to establish effective working relationships and use good judgment, initiative and resourcefulness when dealing with other employees and the public.
Ability to effectively communicate, understand instructions, and follow directions.
Ability to work effectively under stress, changes in work priorities, and in emergencies.
