Send the Men in Your Life to Trinity Hospital & WVON’s FREE Men’s Health Fair – June 11th

Advocate Trinity Hospital and WVON 1690-AM “The Talk of Chicago”will host Men’s Health Fair from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Bessemer Park, 8930 S. Muskegon, Chicago IL 60617.
Trinity will host its annual Men’s Health Expo, Let’s Get Real, in collaboration with WVON 1690-AM on Saturday, June 11. The event helps raise awareness about issues that affect men’s health including kidney disease and prostate cancer. A one-mile walk around the park will kick-off the activities. Screenings include cholesterol, diabetes, HIV and cardiac/stroke risk. Educational lectures will be presented on topics ranging from cardiovascular disease to cancer. WVON will be airing live from the event as well. Although the fair focuses on men’s health, there will be activities and screenings for women and children. All participants will enjoy free food, games and raffle prizes.
